I like everything about this ottoman except it smells bad. It made my home stink. I had to put it on my patio for several weeks . This didn’t help so I sprayed fabreeze every day for approx 1 1/2 weeks then finally I mixed Fabuloso with water put on sponge and wiped inside ottoman several times . That didn’t work so I soaked cotton balls of undiluted Fabuloso and placed them inside ottoman.Nothing to dislike, it stores a good amount, functions well as a footrest, and with young grandchildren, it is not something I have to worry about as far as bumping heads or shins! Or stains, as it is wipe clean. Looks nice in our family room as well. Perfect size…48” longWas quite an ordeal regarding the delivery process (which the awesome folks at Amazon graciously compensated me for). In the end, it was worth it. Matches my bedroom decor perfectly. Lots of storage space for bed sheets, blankets, etc. Very good quality, also. The only assembly required is screwing on each leg to the bottom; no screwdriver required. The color is more of a dark turquoise. Beautiful! Very pleased!Nice & well made. Using as a coffee table. No smell that others mentioned. I love everything about it and could not be happier or more satisfied with my purchase. Here’s why:Construction – This is one sturdy storage ottoman. For starters, it was delivered as one piece, no assembly required! Hinges attach the lid to the rest of the rectangular frame. The entire ottoman – body and lid - is made of a solid yet lightweight material, making it easy to transport and carry around. The body is not collapsible and can take the weight of 2 full grown adults. The lid is tufted and lightly padded making it comfy to sit on.Aesthetics – I purchased the ottoman in slate grey, a color that blends and easily matches with any room décor. This contemporary piece can be used in your living room as well as the bedroom. After much deliberation, I placed it at the foot of my bed in the bedroom. It is amazing how little space the ottoman takes up, while at the same time having the storage capacity to fit a ton (its interior is spacious, deep and wide enough)! It fits just right with the setting of the room, adding elegance and utility.Value for Money – I bagged my ottoman online at amazon shortly after the Black Friday sales. The ottoman was listed at half its price then and while it did take a while for the company to fulfill my order, it was more than worth the wait. That said, having purchased this ottoman and reviewing its quality and usage, I’d be happy to have purchased it at the regular marked price.This is one of the best pieces of furniture I’ve brought and I can tell we're going to have quite a long happy relationship togetherI love this so much!!! It was very easy to assemble, I just had to screw on the legs. The storage capacity seems reasonable. The material looks a little cheap but overall it is fine since it’s just going in the master bedroom for extra storage and to set my decorative bed pillows on. The corners on the lid aren’t wrapped well so there are some creases/wrinkles.If I had it to do all over again I would probably purchase the fabric version instead of the faux leather.I am very happy that this is (so-far after one month) very well-constructed. I don't like the colour as much as I thought I would in person, however. It is as it looks on the product page, so there is definitely truth in advertising. Just me wishing it looked a bit more... sophisticated.The "assembly" is as easy as attaching the 4 feet. Super easy.If you like the colour, I highly recommend this.Watch for prices as they do fluctuate.Very nice color matches with my other furniture.Its a good sturdy bench. Very good price.
